Catherine's End
Catherine is not happy that she is in the hospital. In fact, Catherine is not happy with much of anything.
She recalls all of her family members short comings and her regrets. She has hope in only one thing; her newborn baby
great granddaughter. And when that great granddaughter arrives, Catherine begins to say goodbye to her life and comes
to grips with death.
Max's Guilt
Max has had multiple by-pass surgery and is in the hospital. A nurse notices that he is crying during one check
up and wonders why. Max tells a story of how he is responsible for the death of his father when he was a child and of
a little girl that died during a car wreck that he was involved in. A view of a good man that lives with regrets that
he truly had no control over.
Jennie's Truth
Jennie is a nurse at a retirement home. One of her residents is suffering from severe dementia. Jennie knows why
but is not allowed to share that information with any of the family members. Jennie goes through the moral dilema of
deciding to stand up for the truth or protecting the lie that she has been told to tell.
